What is your low-price guarantee?

Discovery Furniture's policy is not to be undersold. We will meet or beat any advertised price in print within 75 miles of our store on first quality identical merchandise for up to 30 days after purchase.

Our Low Price Guarantee does not apply to clearance, floor models, vendor rollbacks/rebates, special purchases, promotional items, discontinued merchandise, free items or services or finance offers. Merchandise offered for sale on the Internet or other auction sites is excluded.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Regardless of manufacturer warranties, Discovery Furniture warrants furniture you purchase from us to be free of manufacturing defects for 6 months.

If your furniture was delivered by us, we will provide in-home repair in our service area, if required. If you chose to pick up your furniture, you can bring it in to our service area to be repaired.

We will also ensure you receive the full benefit of factory warranties, as Discovery Furniture is the "Factory Authorized" service provider in this area for many of our manufacturers.

To protect your furniture against a broad range of accidental damage, we also offer the Protection 1st Plan for purchase. This plan provides a full 5-year no-worry accidental damage warranty. If no claims are made during the warranty period, Discovery Furniture will credit the purchase price of the plan back to you in the form of a gift card. Ask your Home Specialist for details.

Is there a charge for delivery?

Can I pick up and handle my own delivery?

Yes. We are pleased to assist you in inspecting and loading your new furniture. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your goods are properly loaded, secured, transported, and placed in your home.

We strongly recommend you open and/or inspect your merchandise before leaving.

Bring plenty of blankets and tie-downs to protect your new furniture.

Your signature on the delivery/pickup copy will verify your acceptance of furniture in good condition.

In case of damage while you are transporting your purchase, you may return the damaged piece to our Topeka Distribution Center to have us estimate repairs.

Do you have financing plans?

Credit-worthy customers can always enjoy credit at Discovery Furniture. Apply for credit now to learn the credit amount for which you may qualify. Financing terms may change depending upon promotional offers.

What is your return policy?

Furniture purchased from stock may be returned (in as new condition) for exchange or refund within 3 days. All clearance items are "as is" and non-returnable.

Special ordered furniture (anything not in stock) may be cancelled, changed, or returned (in as-new condition) within 3 days, but will incur a 25% restocking fee.

Sealy Posturepedic or Tempur-Pedic Mattresses may be exchanged (in as-new condition) when purchased as a set with a mattress pad, for one-time equal exchange within 90 days, but will incur a 15% disposal fee.

Services such as delivery and fabric protection are not returnable or refundable.

Parts, pillows, mattress pads, or fabric special orders are not cancelable or returnable and must be paid in full prior to order.

Do you offer a wedding registry?

Yes. Our Discovery Furniture wedding account works like cash in your name. When your friend or family member contributes to your wedding account, they will receive a gift card in the amount of their monetary donation to give as a shower or wedding gift. It’s that easy. There is no need to pre-select merchandise. You can use your wedding account for anything you want in either of our stores.

How do I contribute to a wedding account?

Want to contribute to an existing wedding account? We’ve made it easy for you. Just call us at 785-271-0684 and make a donation to a wedding account over the phone or visit any of our locations to make your contribution. Once you have made your contribution, you will receive a gift card in that amount to be given as a shower or wedding present.
